Sushi chopsticks is a traditional kitchen tool used on a daily basis in Japan. The country's residents also use them to eat noodles and meat dishes, among other things. History hashias the Japanese call chopsticks, dates back many thousands of years. Chopsticks originated in China, but eating food with them has spread throughout Asia.
Sushi chopsticks are usually made of wood or bamboo. You can also often get them made of metal or plastic. Wooden ones are, of course, the most convenient to use as they are lightweight. In Japan, they are added disposable chopsticks of wood for almost every dish - including when buying takeaway food in konbini, for example. At home, on the other hand, people have their favourite reusable hashi.
Eating sushi with chopsticks requires practice, but the technique is not complicated. The chopsticks are held between the thumb and fingers, with one being immobilised (it must be rested on the thumb) and the other moving and grasping the food. Traditional Japanese sushi is eaten with chopsticks, although sometimes the hands can also be used (when eating sushi nigri, for example).
